Basic Educational Android application - repost

The purpose of the small educational windows application is to allow children (age 2-6 years) to familiarize themselves with basic sounds of animals.

The whole application is based on the usage of mouse. First, the user can enter their name, which is shown in the up right corner of the screen throughout the entire game. When the game is shut down, the name is erased from the memory. After entering the name, the first level will start immediately. Four pictures of different animals are shown in the screen and a sound of one of these 4 animals is played clearly. The user has to decide which of the pictures corresponds with the sounds and selects one of the four animals. If the choice is right, a green tick will show up in the screen. The four pictures will still be visible on the background. Simultaneously with the green tick, an applause and cheering sound is played. Hereafter, one of the other three sounds will be played, until all four sounds corresponding with the pictures are played and answered correctly. If the user selects the wrong picture, a red X shows up and a sad doink sound is played. Hereafter, the same animal sound is played again, allowing the user to try again. This continues until the user selects the right option.

Throughout the entire game, it is possible to press the "X" to exit the game’.

Product features

- The user shall enter his or her name.

- In each game the user shall hear a sound and provided with four different pictures. In every level the sound corresponds with one of the pictures, which is then the right answer to the level.

- User shall be notified whether his choice was right or wrong.

- Application is user friendly for children.

- The application shall operate on windows 7 or newer.

The application has to be finished in approx. 1 week. The selected supplier will (if neccessary) receive four pictures and four sounds which have to be used for the games. Furthermore, four background pictures can be provided (one for the menu and one for the game).
