What we are looking for: Ambitious individuals to call on the specifier or buyer at chain store headquarters who decides what equipment goes into the stockroom/backroom areas of their locations in order to promote "NoTrac®", a unique product.
Background: All retail stores require stockroom areas with shelving and/or racks to keep inventory. Similarly, foodservice locations keep non-refrigerated food and service items in backroom areas. SpaceNow! has developed a unique system called "NoTrac" with significant advantages over any other movable shelving system now on the market. The mobile shelving concept is well-known so you won’t have to sell the idea. You must simply convince the buyer that the NoTrac system is a much better solution.
What SpaceNow! will provide: Lists by state of retail and foodservice chain headquarters including the names and contact information for the individuals most likely to be involved in specifying or purchasing stockroom storage equipment. We will also provide training, marketing materials, layouts and quotations and 24/7 sales and technical support.
What the successful candidates must provide: Contact reports: Who was called; who was visited and when, a summary of call and meeting results for each, and a follow-up plan.
What the successful candidates will have: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to absorb and understand the (fairly simple) technical aspects of the system, organizational skills to follow through each potential customer to a "yes," "maybe," or "no" conclusion, and a willingness to work hard enough to realize the potential of this opportunity. Specific experience in selling to retail and/or foodservice chains at the corporate level will be considered a plus as would store design and construction experience with specific retail and foodservice industry contacts.
The Commission Program: Option 1 — Ongoing commissions: If you are successful in getting the NoTrac system specified by a chain, we will pay you a 3% commission for every sale to that chain for their locations anywhere in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Many chains have hundreds or thousands of locations so each successful contact could result in a large number of commissions.
Option 2 — One-time commission: If you are successful in getting the NoTrac system specified by a chain, we will pay a one-time fixed commission of $1,000 for just the first sale to that chain. However, there are thousands of chain store corporations in the U.S. For example, in New York State alone there are over 80 retail and foodservice chain store corporate headquarters. For both options, commissions will be paid within 10 days after SpaceNow! Is paid.
Summary: There are thousands of retail and foodservice chain store companies in the U.S. with over a million outlets. Thousands of locations are being added every year nearly all of which will have backroom storage areas for which many will specify movable shelving. The potential earnings for a hard-working, organized person could be huge.
