We are looking for someone who can make us an epoxy or resin that is used as a self-locking patch for fasteners. The patch is simply a small length of the fastener or screw, 3 to 6 threads where the epoxy or resin is brushed on and then cured so that when used it will become self-locking. The epoxy or resin needs to be able to withstand up to 250 degrees fereignheight and vibration and torque tests and reusibility. The epoxy may need to be clear because we may need to dye it a certain color. It should look and be applied like the picture I have posted. Our company can pay well and there is possible future work as well. Price is negotiable.

Hi there, This is Bogdan from Romania. I'm a mechanical engineer, 3D designer and modeler. From the description you provided you need a self melting resin which used on screws to have the same effect as Loctite 243. Probably you know that are also nails with self melting adhesive. Depending the purpose of the screws (how is inserted - by hand or by pneumatic wrenches) the resin is different (melting point, fluidity, solidification time, etc). Whatever locker you trying to develop, you have to be sure you not infringe the patents from Loctite and other. While I'm not a chemist engineer so I can't develop a new resin/polymer for you, I'm still able to identify a regular resin/polymer which to make the work for you. Regards Bogdan
