Project Description

I’m very excited to offer this great opportunity for a Photoshop retoucher.

I’m a Micro stock photographer based in Spain. I have been working for the last few years and now I’m ready too expanding my business. I’m looking for a full time retoucher, the successful applicant with need to be very organised, be able to work to dead lines, have a great knowledge of Photoshop, lightroom, and a good understand of English and preferred experience with editing for micro stock.

The monthly contract will be to:

Download 1000-1500 raw images (30-36 Meg per image) each month.

Edit the images ready for the microstock market. Crop, colour correct, sharpen, de brand, whiten teeth ect.

Uploaded a copy of the edited photos to my drop box account.

The images will need to be finished in 30 days. So if I upload a set of (200 images) on the 10th of the month they will need to be finished in 30 days from when they were uploaded.

Please read carefully

This is my second time adverting on the freelancer and there are a lot of time wasters here. This is a real job and I feel it’s a great opportunity for a freelancer to have an on going contract.

Please don’t contact me to talk about the role; first I would like you to do a test of 7 images that I have supplied in this drop box link.

The Images are from a Nikon d4s so you will need a raw converter for lightoom or Photoshop. For work flow lightroom is much more efficient but you can use either program.

I would like the images retouched ready for the microstock market. If you would like check out our portfolio here and you will get an idea of the type of style we have. [url removed, login to view]+Mesa+Sam+Wordley

- Crop if you feel they need them, I normally use the rule of thirds for cropping so this is a good place to start.

- Set colour temp

- Exposure

- Saturation

- Sharpen (please see screen grab in dropbox folder) don’t over sharpen

- Noise reduction (only on images shoot above 600 ISO) see sceen grab in dropbox link.

- Take all the branding off the photos, Apple logo on laptop, bottom on iPhone or tablet even the side of the computer where you can see the usb plugs ect the computer companies trade mark all these. Any trade more logos on clothes ect.

- Whitten teeth, not to much just a little

- If shot on white background fixed background if needed.

- Export the image as a jpeg 100% or 12 high if working in Photoshop in AdobeRGB 1998, resize longest edge to [url removed, login to view] inches with resolution of 300DPI

Once you are happy with your 7 images please, upload them to your dropbox account if you don’t have one set one up and send me a message from the freelancer.

In the message in freelancer can you please add a brief description about yourself, how long you have been retouching for, where you live, what computer your work on, if you are looking for long term work, if you have a calibrated screen, your internet speed, The price you would be happy to work for on this monthly contract. The first time I Advertised on the freelancer I got a lot of people with prices then they changed their price as soon as I start talking to them even after the job had been described in detail. Think about the job and think about your prices and set it. This wont be for negotiation at a latter point.

I’m looking to build a strong working relationship. The successful applicant wont be chosen on the cheapest price it will be the quality of work and how I feel we can work together. I will be happy to provid training for the first few month so we can get into a good work flow.

I understand that everyone has a busy life and this application will take a bit of time so I will leave it open to the Friday the 18th of October. I will contact you the following week with a phone interview.
