I am a fashion designer with a BA and MA in fashion design with skills in machine knitwear. I am currently working as a freelance designer and my work consists of designing looks or collections, producing technical packs and creating digital patterns. I have worked on several tech packs and am experienced in creating technical flats and digital patterns. i have freelanced for Fee Tat Knitting Factory which is the company that produces knitwear for a large number of brands including French Connection, Mexx and Topshop. Other fields I worked in were in sportswear working with Sky Worldwide Export; a German Shanghai based company that does licensing for numerous European brands. Previous work also included work as a temp design assistant at Jill Stuart on their second line ‘JILL’ by Jill Stuart, to help in the months of sample manufacturing and the week of presentations to the buyers. I was responsible for sourcing fabric materials and communicating with factories concerning production deadlines. I worked closely with the pattern maker and seamstress and kept track of the development of each look. I am a creative and enthusiastic and I hope I can get the opportunity to work with you.
