Create unique Meta data automatically

1. Meta data As far as I know, the site has a homepage, categories, sub categories and item pages. I think that the sub categories and item pages are made automatically from an XML feed provided by my supplier. The Meta data for all these pages is poor and this is what I need looking at. With 70 odd sub categories and thousands of item pages I need a way that when the XML feed is called in and an item page is created, unique Meta data is also created automatically for each page.
