Create a program to read XML feed and send text message given a certain situation - Sports Betting Related

Basically, I need code that I can put on my own server that will look at the following XML feed ([login to view URL]) and do the following: 1) For NCAA Basketball and NBA basketball, look up the games and compare the spreads for the full game vs. the 2nd half 2) If the spread for the 2nd half is greater than the original spread, then send a text message to my phone. (example: LA Lakers favored by 4 points for the full game before it starts. At halftime, they are favored by 5 to win the 2nd half because they are losing.) Ideal candidates would: 1) Know and understand how betting works (i.e. what a point spread is, the difference between NCAA Basketball and NBA Basketball) 2) Know how to read an XML feed and extract relevant data
