add extra functionality to custom plugin

My custom WP plugin adds meta tags for posts that are created from user-submitted data, following simple rules I set. The task is to expand it's functionality to do the following: - Allow to add synonyms to these meta tags (on auto-pilot), from a list of synonyms that I enter in Relevanssi plugin. - Generate post tags automatically, the same way keywords get generated.
