Custom WordPress "rewards/affiliate" Module

WORDPRESS PROJECT Donating items for points module. (for this project let’s call it the trade calculator.) SITE: [login to view URL] For mock ups of various main pages please see attachments. [login to view URL] Overview: This site is a charity based site done in WordPress where visitors can sign up and donate items, for each item they donate they are given a number of points, (laptop = 500, books = 50 etc) these points are all collected and stored in the members “my account” area. After collecting a certain amount of points over a period of time, the member can redeem these points toward the cost of a vacation at one of the hotels affiliated with www.tradefortravel.com. This module is basically a rewards/affiliates system or very similar to collecting air miles for use at a later date for cheap/free flights..Same theory. How it will work: If it’s the visitors 1st time visiting the site they have 2 options to use the trade calculator. 1. Go to the trade calculator page on the main site,( [login to view URL]) follow the easy instructions on how to donate items and when completed they hit submit. After hitting submit they go to a sign up / sign in page ([login to view URL]) if they already have an account (but for some reason didn’t log in first)..they are asked to log in and the information they “submitted” goes into their account automatically ([login to view URL]) If they do not have an account yet, they still go to the sign up / log in page and are asked to sign up. After sign up is completed an email confirmation link is sent to their email, after clicking the link in their email..their account is active and the items they submitted previously are added to their account along with the amount of points they have collected for these items ([login to view URL]) 2. If they already have signed up in the past and have an active account, they can just log into their members area and can use the same page to donate items, ( [login to view URL]) they only difference is that they don’t have to sign up or log in after hitting “submit” It just goes directly into their account ([login to view URL]) IMPORTANT: When the items / points are added to the members account ([login to view URL]) the “status” has to be set to “pending” by default. this is because the site admin has to receive the items donated (via post) and has to “approve” them. (in case they are no good / broken etc) if the items are as described, the admin can log into their master admin area ([login to view URL]) find the members donation order (searchable via order #, name or email) and can simply “approve or deny” the order….if it is approved…it updates in the members account to approved and their points “active” and added to their total. If it is denied the status updates to “denied” in the member account. (maybe a note can be sent explaining why…) Additional actions when user hits “submit” on [login to view URL] as written above, the user hits submit and is asked to sign up or log in…BUT also a copy of the order needs to be sent to the sites admin email to be “approved” and as the admin has to know what donations come from what members, we need a numeric order number to be created for each new order and also a printable copy of the order needs to pop up or be available to the member so they can print it out and sent it with the item they are donating. Additional stuff we would like a way to have maybe the “donator of the month” so somewhere on the home page we can have a box which “we would like to thank “member name” for collecting the most points this month” and as you can guess it is automatically populated with the member that has collected the most points. Countdown clock/expiration: We are aware that some people will use the system but may never send the items or just forget. So we need an expiration on the items that they have submitted and are sitting in their account…after say 30 days they are auto deleted (saves space on database) I think that is it…I am sure we may have tweaks but this is the main project.
