Convert text field to number field

Have a table where all values are text values, I'd like to copy the table into a new table where text fields with numbers or dates are converted to numbers/date fields so I can perform calculations. The new table is exactly like the original, except that field format is numeric for the the numeric fields. Fields to be converted: Billing amount Remove leading zeros and convert text field to numeric field (last 2 digits of text field is pennies). DBCRFlag field adds a MINUS to the numeric field if =DB. Posting Date Convert YYYYMMDD to date field. Purchase Date Convert YYYYMMDD to date field. Transaction Amount Remove leading zeros and convert text field to numeric field (last 2 digits of text field is pennies). Settlement Amount Remove leading zeros and convert text field to numeric field (last 2 digits of text field is pennies). Settlement Rate Remove leading zeros and convert text field to numeric field (last 4 digits of text field are behind decimal). First Field in table is transaction ID, this should be used as a key to prevent re-copy of the same data. I.e. the source table may be updated with more records, and by pressing a query or VBA-button, I can update an existing table that already contains old converted data. Table may contain millions of records, so reprocessing old source records and overwriting in other table may be time consuming, the key may therefore be useful. I'll provide sample MDB and data. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
