Blowback software

My clients send me CDs containing documents of different file types. (Mostly Microsoft Office documents). These files can be text files, PDF files, zip files, power point files, access files, excel files *.pst, outlook files *.nsf, lotus notes email files....etc. We are currently manually printing these files by opening each one in the proper program. Some excel files need to be formatted. In those cases the user specifies the paper size needed. We need software that performs the following: 1. The user needs to be able to select the CD or any storage device containing the documents we need to print. 2. The program will start printing all the documents automatically. 3. The program needs to Format all*.xls spread sheets- make it fit to a page left to right; meaning when opening an xls sheet: • go to view and view page break you will see only horizontal blue corrupted lines and no vertical (each page formatted to individual pages ??" instead of multiple pages printed concurrently; and • print it on the appropriate paper (we use 8.5 x 11(LTR), 11x14(LEGAL), and 11x17 (LEDGER)) depending on how much it was reduced to. When documents contain multiple sheets, we select them all (by right clicking) and print (if there are no vertical corrupted lines). To determine if there are vertical corrupted lines we right click on the document and select: view and view page break. 4. In case the print job is interrupted before completion, the program should resume printing from where it stopped, when printing is restarted. 5. In case of *.pst file or *.nsf files: The software will print the body of the email followed by a BLANK colored slip sheet (8.5x11), followed by the attachment corresponding to that email if any (there could be multiple attachments). 6. In case there are other documents (other than .pst and .nsf) the software has to print a color slip sheet W/ THE NAME OF THE FILE ON IT (KIND OF DIRECTORY) example: d:\project name\file name\ doc. Name 7. In case of an error (can’t print file because the file is corrupted, a password is needed, or a slide show / video / audio …etc.) the application will print another slip indicating what kind of error as mentioned above. 8. The application has to be able to print the 2 kind of separator sheets (the error message slip sheet and the directory slip sheet) from a different paper tray and both should be on LTR size paper.
