I need a small app that would connect to an email account, check for new mail and print it automatically.
The emails that come to this address are online orders that needs to be printed on our termal printer: Samsung BIXOLON SRP350.
Until now I tried a few programs that check an email account and print automatically the body text of the mail but with no success. That is because the program printed the email text, but after that it continued to pull out paper from the printer roll even if there was nothing to print. That means on a order that would normally take 25 cm long, the entire piece of roll paper measure 180 cm, with the rest of the paper left blank. One of the softwares I am talking about is AUTOMATICPRINTEMAIL from Namtuk. [login to view URL]
So I want a software with these features:
- to run in winxp like a daemon
- to check multiple email accounts periodically(imap, pop), with the possibillity to be set to different values(1 min., 5min, etc)
- to print automatically every new mail, but to print only the body text, without details about the sender, etc., and not to leave spaces unprinted at the beggining and end of the text.
- the source code
The roll paper of this printer is 8 cm wide, meaning that the text must fit in maximum 7cm wide. The orders come allready formated for text to fit in 7 cm wide.
