Would like to build a site that combines elements of bigcommerce, shopify, etsy and bigcartel. The ability to set up your own shop with the ease and simplicity of big cartel or etsy. But like volusion and shopify, hosted shops will NOT be a part of a larger marketplace. Want merchant to easily be able to customize their own shop. Merchant sites should also be mobile friendly if displaying on a mobile device. Would like Payment Processing offered to Merchants to be both Paypal and [login to view URL] Basic customization will be the ability to upload their own banner and background image for their shop and select colors of various menu items. Merchants sites should be able to have multiple pages eg. Home, About Us, FAQ, News, Contact Us, Products - all of which are optional and can be added and removed if the Merchant chooses to. WYSIWYG Merchant would be able to use subdomain or their own domain. Look should be clean and modern. Customers will have 3-4 plans to choose from with varying degrees of access to cart and shop functions.
