I have a small business website, www.softtax.com. We sell books dedicated to taxes on software transaction. I need someone who can do some coding to help fine tune the website. I have a problem controlling access to a portion of the website. Access is currently limited via a separate log in box. When you get to the appropriate page: [login to view URL] you are supposed to type in your email address and it is checked against a separate text file. The file consists of the following field: your email address, an expiration date, and the number of times a day you are allowed access For example: email address,7/6/2006,3 The rationale to limit the number of daily access is to prevent large companies from buying one copy/subscription and then sharing it. My current web designer has allegedly implemented this using some php (?) code. Yet every time I try it, there are no limits to the number of accesses I can do with the same email address. I have also discovered that if I gain control to the controlled access part that if I then go to the home page and click my way through, that the, the authorization page is bypassed incorrectly. What I think I want done is (1) implement the access so that it is limited to a set number of times a day (the exact number can be individually set for each customer) and (2) I cannot bypass the authorization page when I start from the home page. I expect to have full ownership of any code created in that (1) I can use it on my website without limitation and (2) in the event I sell my company, the code goes with the website.

## Platform
I use dreamweaver MX (version 6.1) on a macintosh to maintain my website. So whatever code you create must be compatible with my system. The code must be able to run on all computers out there as I have no idea what software/hardware my customers are using to access my site.
