Create a .sav SPSS-file-format using visual basic

We need a visual basic application created in visual studio. It should be able to create a .sav file (SPSS compatible format) and populating the .sav file with data. The application should use the [login to view URL] to create the .sav file (I do not think other options are available). The data will consist of nummeric fields, string-fields and date-fields. Variables will have to have value labels attached in the .sav file. Fields to be created in the .sav file ID [nummeric-field] DATE [date-field] NAME [STRING-field / lenght 255] ANSWER [nummeric-field] Value labels to be attached to the variable ANSWER '1' = 'Answer 1' '2' = 'Answer 2' '3' = 'Answer 3' Data to populate the .sav file with: 1,8/8-2006,my name,1 2,8/8-2006,my name,2 3,8/8-2006,my name,2 4,8/8-2006,my name,3 Code must be well documented ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
