I'm currently developing a report with Crystal Reports 9.2 en.
First idea was using a cross table (pivot).
We have a table with records:
number (unique)
closure_code - 10 different values (only one applies for one record)
UK_affected ("f" or "t")
USA_affected ("f" or "t")
GERMANY_affected("f" or "t")
cross table loos like:
10 columns for closure_code ("1", "2", "3", .... "10")
rows look like:
UK_affected
USA_affected
GERMANY_affected
I tried it with a formular so I could group by countries - problem is, that if on record has all or 2 of those check boxes set to true, then the record is put in the first group where the rule fires...
2nd idea was, building the table and creating a counter for each cell - problem is.... (the sample I described above is just simplified. We have 50 rows and 10 columns=500 counters).
In fact what we have here.... Crystal should check for each country and increase the counter for each country that applies...
Any ideas how to solve this problem?
