Hello Joe,
I always like to work on a mock-up of the project versus the standard bid of...."I can do it, pick me."
Then I submit it to the employer for review. That way, if you like the direction of the submission, you can get a rough preview of the finished product.
Is there any way to get the promotion levels at the company? Analyst, Sr. Analyst, Team Lead, Supervisor...ect.
Just a word of advice on performance reviews.
If you give LEGIT raises... PPRs work great. If an employee has a chance to achieve a 5% to 10% raise, this is the tool to justify it.
If you give everyone 2%-3% year after year. The PPR becomes a moot point. If they see a pattern YOY, the PPRs have increasingly less value.
You can get "Wow, I can get 7% if I bust my butt". Or "3% again!...I worked hard for nothing".
I'll work a mock-up and forward.
Regards
Kipp
