I have approximately 2000 Blackboard 9.1 courses that need to be imported into Moodle 2.1
However Moodle 2.1 does not import Blackboard 9.1 courses - BUT Moodle 1.9 does.
So what I am looking for from you is the folllowing:
A means of bulk importing the 2000 courses into Moodle 1.9 from Blackboard 9.1 ( the files will already be in a zip format that exported them from the Blackboard learning management system). This process should look at a directory or some such method with regards to the import process ie run a script that will search a directory for the zipped exported Blackboard files and import them into Moodle and create the courses accordingly.
NOTE that Blackboard courses imported into Moodle do not display neatly so some understand and manipulation of the headings and content may be required based on input from me after I see a test import successfully executing.
Once the courses are all imported into Moodle 1.9 then it needs to be upgraded to 2.1 and the courses exported fully so that they can be imported into another instance of Moodle 2.1 running on a live server.
If you can create a menas to import these courses in a bulk format please do so - ensuring that the content is copied over exactly to the live server as it was on the development server.
Error checking and good clean code with comments are essential features that are required of the successful candidate also - as this may need to be modified down the line.
If you have any questions you can message me here and I will come back to you within a few hours.
Thanks for looking.
