I have some code (attached) written in Python that uses SoapLib. The WSDL that gets generated is close to what is needed by VB.NET, but not close enough. I need either the library debugged or my server code changed to generate WSDL that is usable under VB.NET 2005.
The issue is that for the example below, VB.NET thinks the data types are hello and hello_response rather than string and string. The issue might be where the return types are being placed in the WSDL hierarchy when they are returned from the GET.
@soapmethod([login to view URL],_returns=[login to view URL])
def hello(self,message):
""" Method for webservice"""
return "Hello world "+message
The deliverable is that I want to be able to extend the example attached with more functions with strings, ints, floats etc, and preferably also even return lists of things too...
And any bug fixes in other libraries... Well, they will also need to be submitted to the maintainer of the code so the community can benefit.
