Urgent ??" deadline for operational system is Wednesday 1st August 8pm GMT.

We will be deploying an Asterisk pbx to run a call centre.

The call centre makes almost exclusively outbound calls ??" 30 concurrent calls will be the normal volume.

The operators will be using softphones in the first instance, may move to VoIP handsets in the fullness of time.

The calls will be placed out on two sdsl lines which are yet to be installed, but should each be 800K outbound.

The calls will almost certainly need to be transcoded to GSM before sending up the sdsl lines.

We need bids for:

Assisting us in preparing a stable, tweaked and optimised Linux (probably Centos) installation.

Installing and optimising an Asterisk installation to work in the environment as described.

Writing call data to a same host mysql database.

There is scope for an ongoing relationship (i.e. further work outside this tender) as features such as recording / monitoring, real-time statistical analysis, failover, predictive diallers, etc. are requested.

We will require a person or team who have successfully deployed a system such as this, and we will require verifiable references from such sites.

Documentation will be required for all tweaks and optimisations carried out.

Access will be provided via ssh.
