Daily News Site

The project involves developing a new layout and administration interface(CMS) for our daily news site. The only thing that will be kept from our old site is the Archive. For the CMS you can use any CMS module your are familiar with, as long as you can tweak it to satisfy our usability and security needs. The site is an online daily newspaper. The news are updated daily at 10 pm. All the articles for the next day are added before 10pm by the editors; at 10 pm the site starts displaying the news for the next day. The old articles are sent to the archive and will be accessible by searching or accessing the Archive. The site will incorporate 2 wordpress blogs, for which we need a new theme design(the same for both). The blogs work on wordpress platform and are separated from the main site. The link between the 2 will be a box on the main site that will show the last 5 posts from every blog. The site needs to be fully controllable by the administration interface. The editor should be able to add to every article text, pictures, audios and videos. Every article should have a discussion zone under it where the users can add their comments. This should include a anti spam and bad language protection. The administration interface has to be multiuser, with two levels of access(administrator and editor). The login should be protected by a password and a ip access table controllable only by the administrator. The project winner will receive a document with every detail of our requirements for the site's layout and facilities.
