A somewhat complicated app-- a web-based PIM for lifehackers. web-based outliner with WikiWord dynamic linking and del.icio.us-like tags and extensible metadata living in tag namespace dynamic aggregators (search nodes) with various display options (calendar, list, etc) a server backend that parses special tags and turns them into scriptable actions e.g. email reminders e.g. run script (to, say, change a node tag) after n interval portable data-- take part of it with you on a thumbdrive pda sync ...more. This product is intended for retail sale to serious geeks and productive professionals. Further maintenance contracts a distinct possibility in the future. You will be given a full spec to work from after bid is accepted. EDIT: Please post a sample Rich DHTML app you have executed. If you have not worked extensively with the latest DOMs please adjust your bid amount accordingly, or do not submit a bid. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 1a) Source code must be delivered in a fully documented and commented form for easy future maintenance by Buyer. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform front-end: cross-browser dhtml (see gmail, tiddlywiki). no flash. Must run in IE 6+, Mozilla 1.6+, FireFox 0.8+. back-end: php, python, ruby, or other portable language (no perl or asp; must run on apache-win32/linux/MacOSX) backend db: flatfiles or other file-based db (berkeley, etc)-- I don't want to force my users to install mysql.
