Basically, the way this game is going to be played on an ActiveBoard in a classroom setting with two pens and two different teams. The game randomly displays a question (entered in by the teacher into a database using a simple form that must be created) to two teams, along with two buzzers (one for the red team, and one for the yellow) and a timer that counts down to 0:00 from 15 (when the timer reaches zero it just moves on to another question) . If a team knows the answer they will try to hit their buzzer before the other person. (the active board pens effectively act as a mouse, so this will all happen on one screen) The team that clicks first will be shown 4 multiple choice answers (also entered in by the teacher) and the timer will start over at 10 seconds and will countdown immediately. When the correct answer is selected, the game will give one point to that team. If the answer is wrong or the timer ends, the question is given to a second team (timer starts at 10 again) and a point is deducted from the first team. If the second team answers wrong, a point is deducted. But if the timer runs out on the second team, no points are deducted or given. This goes on for selected times of 5min, 10min, or 20min, which is accumulated time of the whole game. The team that gets the most points wins. The game must run in a way so that it is loaded ONCE, meaning that each question does not take any time to load and the game runs smoothly. It is your choice on what language this is to be coded in, so long as it follows the above statement. We have three ROUGH diagrams attached to help you out. The graphics do not have to be amazing (just so long as the game works well), but good graphics would be appreciated greatly (especially nice transitions between asking and answering. All the questions and answers must be fully customizable with an add question button, delete question button, save question list button (for loading later), load question list button, and clear all question button. *All this really should not be that hard, it only seems like it.* Thank you and I look forward to your bid! --William R.
