AJAX search results for MySQL DB

We have a database containing some 500,000 records. A view of this data provides 'live' data around 7,000 records. We require a fully dynamic (AJAX) search results page that contains 10 filters. Once a filter is click then the results should dynamically change without a page load. In addition there should be a count next to each filter. For example Black (240) White (340) The data you will be working with relates to vehicles and we require a solution that provides quick filtering that is robust! We would also like a free-form search box to act in a similar manner. We are looking for something very similar to [login to view URL] however with a range of filters included. We have purchased to code found on the link below so if it is simply a case of custimising then great.
