We need a submitting / voting component to use on joomla that will turn a joomla site into a [login to view URL] like social bookmarking site. Features: - registered users will be able to submit stories with a title, description and a link - registered users will be able to vote up/down a story - stories should be listed in descending order - it will allow the admin to create categories/subcategories - it will allow comments on stories Basically that's all the most important features.

We are a team of four people and have on Joomla 1.5.8 and completed projects on the same. I think a way of doing this would be to integrate Elgg 1.2 into Joomla and customize Elgg 1.2 php files to fulfill the requirements. We can add a primary module called stories and remove the unwanted modules. The module for stories can be created with ease. However, if an integration of a simple wrapper to handle the stories element is required then that can be done too. Hope to hear from you soon.
