Android 2.1 SDK - Add Functionality

I need to access the mobiles Tx power while on a call ( the actual transmit power that the mobile is sending to the base station ). The [login to view URL] class returns info about how much power it's receiving but doesn't tell you from the mobiles perspective how much it's transmitting to make it back to the base station. So I know you read this and understand what I want, describe to me how you will give me this functionality. You will not be developing an application, just adding functionality I can use to make another application. ## Deliverables The added functionality to the [login to view URL] class in Android 2.1 should be: getEvdoTxDbm - Get the EVDO Tx power value in dBm * 10. getCdmaTxDbm - Get the CDMA Tx power value in dBm * 10 getGsmTxDbm - Get the GSM Tx power value in dBm * 10
