I have an online marketplace running which needs a number of improvements made to it ASAP. The site has been built in PHP and MySQL as well as having java and Ajax components.
I have tried a couple of freelancers but both have 'dropped the ball' in doing the work required and, as such, I am now after someone who will get the job done at a fair price - I have an amount bid for all items by a previous awesome freelancer, so I know a good price from bad! Currently there are around 25 improvements that are required and the winning bidder, for these first three, will get first option on all of the rest *as long as they do the work in a timely manner for a fair price*!
1. Alteration to methodology on restrictions placed on a certain type of member. Currently we have two classes of members; the first are unrestricted in their usage of the site while the others have limitations placed on them as to what they can, and cannot, do. I would like the way the 'can and cannots' worked to be altered to a different limiter.
2. Replies to system emails need to go through to intended recipient - If people mistakenly reply to a system generated email, this reply will come back to a site email address. I would like this changed so that the email will go to the intended recipient (an example is when people reply to the system email notifying them that they have a message, in their Inbox, from another member of the site). I am pretty sure that [url removed, login to view] has been changed to work this way.
3. Messages entered during the shopping cart/ checking out phase are currently only saved to the initial emails that go out to the buyer and seller, I would like these messages to be saved to the invoices created for each transaction on the site. This way both the buyer, and seller, will be able to view the message(s) anytime they need, as the invoices are saved in their account area.
Now, when bidding please keep in mind that I look at your 'bid amount' and then your 'hourly' rate to see how long you think each task will take you. Also, as I have used freelancers for a number of years now, I have an idea of how long things should take, as well as what a fair price is.
Ideally you would create a copy of the site, to make this improvements to, which would then be tested by everyone before being included in the live site at a suitable time of day, or night in this case.
So, the winning bidder will get this job and all going really well, will get MANY more hours of work to follow... many. Did I mention many? Also, I have got a reasonable blurb on what needs to be done, which will hopefully make these tasks nice and easy for you.
Thank you for taking the time to bid on this work and I look forward to getting started on this ASAP. Oh yes, if you can't do any work for a while, please don't bid. If you are currently engaged in a number of projects, so this would only get a small part of your time, please don't bid.

I need more details so I can precise how fast job could be done... For example do you use some FW in this project..is project well documented. It is a little tricky to bid without this details...
