I would like a website to be created for a group of doctors who are training together in the same training scheme. Its purpose is to act as a resource to share learning material, advertise events, have discussions, learn more about the training scheme, etc. Here are some examples of similar websites for other training schemes: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] - tools for trainers [login to view URL] I would like you to use a Content Management System and customise it as per my requirements so that in future I am able to make any changes to the website content myself. I should have control of being able to edit the content of each page through a control panel. I should also be able to control which pages are accessible only through registration. In terms of layout and design, the examples which I like the best are [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] This is because the design is simple, clean, user friendly but still attractive. Menu items on website are: Homepage - home page will have a brief introduction and at the bottom there should be a news/comments feed section where the admin and certain members (selected by the admin) will have the ability to post news/comments. similar to this: [login to view URL] Our Scheme Meet the team > Programme directors > Trainee Representatives Hospital Experience Training Practices MRCGP Events Calendar - example [login to view URL] Should be able to add, remove, edit, delete entries. Teaching Timetable Forum - this is a private forum which will require registration. I will provide forum titles later. Downloads - this is a private section of the website which will require registration. Courses ePortfolio Guidance Contact Us Please note that reistration to website should have protection to prevent automatic registration by spam bots. Admin will also have to appove registration before access to hidden pages. Should also be able to delete members. Coder will have to provide pictures of 2-3 design/layout configurations to choose from.
