Need to rebuild our company web site: [ASAP Guards][1] . The site is functional but a bit dated and ugly. The programmer that did the work really did a poor job. Please take a look and tell me how you would change things on the front end.
The colors we use are red, white and blue - I also like the our logo of flying in and also the "Amber Alert" must stay - the pages are primarily what we need.
More flash would be nice. Like a splash page
Please submit with your questions:
1. The cost of the project
2. Estimated completion date
3. Your portfolio. These sites must be of your own design.
**NO TEMPLATE WIZARDS!**
We will only further our communication with coders who submit these three things. Also, I have the PHP scripts so they will be a click and paste.
## Deliverables
RULE ABOUT THE WEB PAGES:
* Must load quickly
*
* Page being viewed should not have its link show up on the screen: example: If you are on the "Franchise" page, you should not see a button for "Franchise" We find this redundant -
*
* I like mouseovers on links
*
* I must have the ability to alter the text without disturbing the page - example: I tried to adjust the text on the franchise page and look what happened...
*
* Need a text line for the bottom of each page:
Home - Privacy - Contact - etc etc
*
* The PHP scripts work and will only need to be copy and pasted on the the site page. There are three total scripts that need to be placed on the approriate pages and made to look professional.
1. Employee Application - Employee Page
2. Franchise Application - Franchise Page
3. Employee Timesheet - Private portion of the site - Employee Area
*
* copyright will belong to me but for a reduction in your fee we will allow the winning programmer to place their "Designed by" tag on the bottom of the main page. Example: Copyright 2006 ASAP Guards designed by.... this reduction in fee should compensate us for the free advertising.
There are probably other quick fix issues that come up and I will pay accordingly.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
