AI Object Classification System
$500-2000 USD
Paid on delivery
A prototype Artificial Intelligence type system. A user selects an object and based on the attributes of that object and a large database of other objects, the system must present the user with a list of objects that might interest the user. Further user selections help refine the list.
**Please see attached spec document for more details.**
The project involves creating a set of algorithms to provide the required functionality, perhaps using fuzzy logic, neural networks, or whatever other techniques the developer feels will achieve the desired goals. The fully functional prototype will be used to prove that the mechanisms so chosen do actually work.
The prototype will have a very simple user interface with out regard for the aesthetics and just enough functionality to allow the system to operate. However it should be somewhat modular, to allow a more sophisticated user interface to be built and "plugged in" to the system.
The ideal system would be coded as a web service, but that is not essential.
## Deliverables
1) A detailed explanation of the workings of the classification system, how it was constructed and why. Notes on scalability and what enhancements could be used to allow the system to have greater capacity for users and data. 2) Complete and fully-functional working prototype program in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

I have updated the specification document to include more information about the sample data that will be provider and the user interface. Please take a look and respond with any further questions or comments on how this may alter anything you've stated already.
Thanks.
## Platform
Ideally Linux or Mac OS X. Windows possibly. See spec for details of user interface. Preferred implementation languages would be Java, Ruby on Rails, Perl. Prefer not C or C++, unless as a "black box" processing module with a interface created in one of the above languages.
**No Visual Basic**
