Custom Timesheets Program

We have never found a timesheets program that worked for our small company. A few years ago I wrote a timesheets program on top of MS Access. It worked fine at the time but has become a problem as it worked well for older versions of windows but doesn't work well now with 2K and other windows program. It requires MS Access and is incompatible with current MS Access. I will provide the current Access program. I want it enhanced to add a few new features and want the restriction on having MS Access removed. I don't care much if it becomes a VB program, an enhanced MS Access program or something else (.net). I do need to maintain it. We are software people doing embedded systems in C - we understand software but don't do much for PCs. I am not specifically looking for the lowest bidder. I want someone who knows MS Access. Timesheets experience would be a real plus. I will also give some preference to US-based bidders. I want to do this as some fixed base with an hourly charge for other enhancements that come up as we move forward. ## Deliverables Here is a list of what I want specifically: 1. Program must access database on our server 2. Need a better project editor. The project editor creates/edits the project data table. Need to sort projects, view them and access either all projects or just active projects. 3. Need a salary editor to edit the salary table. Need password access to this table. 4. Right now we select a payroll period and the total $ of payroll for that period. The program generates a report using the salary table, the dollars that should be applied to each project in the period. We then manually enter those into Quickbooks. I would like to automate this. 5. Miscellaneous other improvements that will become apparent when I see a prototype. ## Platform Windows XP, 2K, 98
