I have SVN running on one virtual machine and [login to view URL]
running on another.?
Recently I had to move these VM's to a new server which is not on a domain but in a Workgroup.?
This means that the account running the service is the Administrator? user on the cruisecontrol vm and the svn user is the Administrator on? the svn vm.?
In [login to view URL] on the cruisecontrol vm I specify the svn user account?
i.e.?
? ? ? ? <sourcecontrol type="svn">?
? ? ? ? ? ? <executable>C:\Program Files\Subversion\bin\[login to view URL]</?
executable>?
? ? ? ? ? ? <trunkUrl><[login to view URL]></?
trunkUrl>?
? ? ? ? ? ? <username>svnmachine\administrator</username>?
? ? ? ? ? ? <password>somepassword</password>?
? ? ? ? ? ? <timeout units="minutes">20</timeout>?
? ? ? ? </sourcecontrol>?
and in [login to view URL] on the svn vm the settings are as follows:?
<Location /ourrepo>?
? DAV svn?
? AuthName "Our Subversion Repository"?
? SVNPath c:\repos\ourrepo?
? AuthType SSPI?
? SSPIAuth On?
? SSPIAuthoritative On?
? SSPIOfferBasic On?
? SSPIOfferSSPI On?
? SSPIBasicPreferred Off?
? SSPIUsernameCase lower?
? Require valid-user?
? <LimitExcept GET PROPFIND OPTIONS REPORT>?
? ? Require group svnmachine\devs?
? </LimitExcept>?
</Location>?
svnmachine\administrator is a member of the devs group.?
So I am using the correct svn credentials but I am not using the same?
user account to run the service since they are now on different?
machines.?
Now when Cruise Control attempts to access SVN to check modifications?
I get an Authentication realm prompt for the Username. Eventually the?
service times out and doesn't update the source with the latest?
modifications.?
We need to get this working as it means we are currently unable to perform Automated Builds, which slows down our release cycle.
Thanks.
