Converting PHP proc. to OOP standards

I have a Joomla component that I've cobbled togethor using procedural programming that I have learned from trial and error. Now I am doing PHP coding and I want the following done. 1) The code needs to be rewritten to use OOP standards 2) The code needs to be optimized to use as few lines of code as possible 3) The code needs to be commented to explain how it works 4) The functionality of the code needs to be maintained The code as it is written is currently doing the following 1. Allows tickets to be created and notifies the receiving party via email that they have a open ticket.(Writes to DB) 2. Emails the receiving party with a link within the email to read from DB and display ticket on screen (Reads from DB) 3. Receiver responds to ticket and saves(writes to DB) 4. Emails the ticket creator notifying them of a response from the receiver with a link in the email 5. Ticket creator accepts or declines response( if accepted, writes to DB) 6.a allows listing and lookup of tickets by store/status/etc inside the listing is hyperlinks to edit the ticket 6.b allow voiding of a ticket ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
