I need a conditional SSI that will include a specific header file, based upon the directory in which the html file exists. For instance, if the html page is in the "Projects" directory, I want the include to be the "Projects" header file. If the page is in the "Contacts" directory, I want the include to be the "Contacts" header.
I can set up my file and directory names so that the include is the same name as the directory, so that once the script has determined the directory it can use the same value to pull out the include file, thereby keeping the code to a minimum (assuming this is done in Perl okay). The only condition that needs to be evaluated is the location of the file and there will never be more than one header file used per directory.
Greater flexibility is okay, as long as it is straighforward to implement. The goal here is to avoid having to touch every page to specify which header file is to be included.
Thanks,
Mike
