I have a blog currently hosted on Typepad. It's located [here][1] if you want to read it.? There are a couple of editors out there such as [zempt][2]? or [[login to view URL]][3].? These editors are designed to allow you to work on posts offline, using all the rich text editor stuff, links, html, blaah blaah. It will pull down your posts, allow editing, etc.? It's offline management of your blog.
The obvious "doh!" that poped into mind was, why not use Word as the editor and be done with it.? It's not all the easy, I suspect, but then, I'm not a real coder.
The project is to create the macros/interface to allow Word to be a blog editor/manager, specifically in my case for TypePad.
What I'd want to be able to do is open Word, press the manage my blog button and get pretty much what you see in zempt and/or [login to view URL] above.? To test it, no brainer, sign up for a free blog on typepad and try it.?
I think alot of people are going to want this so, I suspect I will be giving it away to people that want it.? If you want people to know you built it in the hopes people will ask for features, updates, etc, no problem, let me know and it's all yours.
For me, I only care about typepad and no other blog software. I'm running Windows XP with Office 2003, all lastest and greatest patches, etc.? I will need a documentation, step by step example, and the code.?
Good luck, email me with questions.
