Betfair win-place

This project will involve the development of a piece of software to enable me to place bets on Betafir automatically. Essentially in horse racing I want to compare the odds of horses to WIN with the corresponding odds for a horse to PLACE. These prices are logged as different event in Betfair - so the software would need to bring them together. The win odds will then be subject to a simple calculation to determine the PLACE probability and then another calculation to determine the VALUE associated with the PLACE odds ie are the PLACE odds higher than they should be if the market were efficient (ie reflects the true probability of the horse placing). If there is VLAUE then a bet would be placed on the horse with VALUE PLACE odds - Lastly a third calculation would then be required to calculate the stake and then fianlly the bet placed. I would like there to be a facility for the software to run in TEST MODE - to allow dummy runs. I want to be able to select appropriate a number of races from the market and set up the software to run automatically during the session. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Not sure - Windows XP and ? Explorer Maybe run in excel? Open to suggestion - really not an expert and would take advice
