**Keyboard driver.**

We want a keyboard driver for IPAQ 6300 Pocket PC 2003. The driver should be able to communicate with a custom made serial keyboard that sends 2 bytes of scan code at 9600 baud rate for every character pressed on the keyboard. The driver should be able to open the serial port of the IPAQ 6300 and read the data from the serial port and convert the scancods to the appropriate characters or command. It should be able to work on all the application on the IPAQ.

**We have a staff that can do the simulating and testing for you if you do not have a Pocket PC.**

**Specification and Requirements:**

Serial keyboard driver for Pocket PC 2003 and 2002 platforms.

1. The driver or the application should communicate at 9600 baud rate with a keyboard though the serial port and take the two bytes scancode (for example: “80 00?? for ‘A’ , “ 8B 0B?? for character ‘B’, “C0 40?? for “F1??(Open Help window)) and inject the character or the command to the appropriate place.

2. The driver should be on at all time but it should include “Turn On “ and “Turn off?? Icons if the user decides to disable it.

3. Executable from a desktop computer to load to the IPAQ through Microsoft

ActiveSync.

4. Microsoft eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 source code.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
