Got skills in DirectShow that you want to implement in a small, bite-sized project to deliver a simple TV application/control? Working with DVB-T video source, we're looking to implement a? TV component (ActiveX or similar) that can be used by other applications. Just the start of lots of DVB-based TV software we are looking to build in the following months. This first piece is only the beginning... This is a senior role, with the candidate able to set the direction of the technology in order to achieve the outcome. You will be working with a senior architect (20+ years experience, C++/C# et al.) who understands the technology as your eyes and hands on site, not some business guy with no clue. We are looking for the best and smartest! ## Deliverables Our requirements are: - A Windows COM control (ActiveX or a raw top level window overlay) - Plays a video stream from a? DVB-T stream (any hardware) via DirectShow - Able to be used in WPF DirectShow surface The control should have these methods: - ShowChannel(freq) - Stop() [blanks the window] - AutoTuneUp() - AutoTuneDown() Properties: - Frequency Optional additional requirements: - Current channel name/number - Current program text, ending time - Next program text
