What the app does:
Logs into [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] and visits sites with the Recent Visitors widget (which shows profile names and avatars).
After a visit by the app the profile avatar and username will show up on the site.
What it does behind the scenes:
Prior to visiting the sites a spider crawls the web, mybloglog, and blogcatalog to identify sites containing the widget (by identifying piece of code) and recording the URL.
Additional Functionality:
Additional sites can be added to log into.
Additional widgets can be searched for on the web (by identifying piece of code)
*** If bidding on the project please have existing spidering code available or the ability to change open source spidering scripts to the appication's needs.
The app does not need to find every site containing the widget. It also does not have to be 100% accurate in finding them (due to inconsistencies in widget code)
