The project is to provide a simple app in VB.NET (2008 compatible) that acts as a DDE Client to a Metatrader 4 (MT4) DDE Server. The app needs to just provide a simple example of connecting and collecting the symbol, bid, ask, high, low, and time for the EURUSD symbol. I will expand it later to other symbols, store the data, analyze it, etc. While I have the complete .Net development environment, I am not familiar enough with the other languages to be able to effectively use them. It must include installation instructions and demonstrate that it can act as the DDE Client in real-time. The app cannot require any external applications (other than the DDE Server/MT4) to function (e.g. Excel). MT4 is available free from many brokers (e.g. [login to view URL]) and comes with a sample app in Excel. ## Deliverables It should be able to run using the 2.0 .Net framework, but can require 3.0 or 3.5 if there is good reason and it is agreed on prior to release.
