Convert word to txt file

I need a windows based application that can convert 100's of .doc, docx files into clean txt files I would also like the ability to specify a master template in the converter application which allows me to use a variable i.e. <bold>[text here]</bold> which instructs the converter to merge the converted text into that placeholder. Process Flow: 1. Run program 2. Select master template - optional (i.e. [login to view URL]) 3. Select input folder with all doc files (recurse option for sub folders) 4. Select output folder 5. Run batch
