Search Engine Optimization

We have a website that has been placed in all of the popular search engines. (i.e, Yahoo, Google, Inktomi, MSN, AOL, Dogpile, Alta Vista, Netscape, etc) However, we would like to be ranked higher for certain search terms that our customers use. We do NOT need to SUBMITTEDto search engines, therefore, the main goal of this project is to be ranked higher thank we are now. In some cases, we are ranked relatively high, but we can always improve. Our preference is to be ranked in the top 10, with the goal of being ranked in the top 3 with the keywords. With most of the keywords we will provide, top 3 ranking should not be an issue. In addition, suggestions to improve our meta tags, etc on the site should be given. What needs to be done: 1. A .doc ranking list for the 30 keyword terms we will provide you for all the search engines mentioned above, (plus any other popular search engines). You will send us a document with all of the keywords we provide for all of the major search engines. This will be the base of the project. This document will provide the current ranking results. You will need to improve on this. 2. Send a document file on what you intend to do to optimize our site on ALL the search engines mentioned above, detailing your actions, plus expected results. 3. Give a .doc file which has a timetable of how long you anticipate the optimization to take. 4. Optimize the site after approval. (Of course, we should be ranked higher than we currently are in the search engines after the time mentioned in the timetable.) Please have experience in this area since SEO is changing everyday. If you have examples of sites you have optimized or worked on, that will exponentially increase your chances of being taken for the job. Site information, etc will be given to you once you have been chosen for the job. Please post a message for any clarificaiton or questions. I need this done correctly the first time. Thanks! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. ## Platform Work on all MAJOR search engines. ## Deadline information You will have ample time to complete the project. However, as stated in the description, a timetable will need to be submitted and approved. Work needs to have a resonable timetable. We would prefer work to take longer, but done correctly. Time is always of the essence, but work quality is #1.
