Database Update Component

The goal of this tool is to access multiple FTP servers (4 to start) in order to download data files (each ftp server store one data file), unzip the files and update local database. We need a visual basic 6 Activex Component with ASP scripts to do the following: 1. Access an FTP site to download a Data file FTP Component and data files samples are provided 2. Unzip the data file if zipped in a specified web directory ZIP Component Provided. 3. Update an Access Database Access Database and DBAccess Wrapper are Provided. 4. Progress Bar to show replication progress. Requirements: 1. Database Class must accept (DNS & DNS Less Connection.) 2. COM DLL must be Multithreaded. 3. The component must accept :*.txt, *.csv and *.xls files format. 4. The component must be configured by using an ASP page. 5. Each Data File must have its own import template. That way we can add/process more data files by only updating a small piece of code. 6. Error handling management ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
