Custom SMTP Server Modifcations - C#, ASP.NET

Below is the short version of the spec. Please see the attached .zip for a word document describing the project details. If there is mutual interest, I will send you the code before final project bidding. Knowledge of smtp protocol and windows services are required. Thank you for your time. This project is for work to modify an existing custom smtp server code and also an existing website ([[login to view URL]][1]). A few bugs need to be fixed and a few features added. I will list the items below, a word document with full specs will be given to potential bidders before the project is awarded for full review. 1. Review and understand the SMTP Server code, determing if the base code needs to be upgraded to the latest version available (from an open source project). Clean up un-used code modules. 2. Modify how email headers are handled - should show as relay, not as originator since it is indeed a relay server 3. Add third option for unkown decoy email addressed, only pass if the username has a special character string... 4. fix a gridview cell that shows &nbsp when it should just be blank 5. fix the contact us page to read content from the db 6. modify internal logging for smtp code to only log when a flag in db or app config file is set 7. create a landing page for after sign up, currently just redirects to homepage 8. modify smtp server code to handle fully qualified domains and not endjunk subdomains Work is to begin immediately and estimated time is 2 weeks for the project. See attached zip for more detailed specs. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
