Custom Log View Control Needed

Enclosed is a sample site I am starting. I started the custom log view control. However; it currently does not work. I created one method (which is what is needed). What needs to happen is 3 place holders needs to show up on the pages that uses the controls (to be able to use 3 place holders) just like the regular log view control. The purpose of this control (instead of using the regular one) is I want to have a custom way of doing roles instead of using the roles and membership objects in the .net. Below is more information of what I need. ## Deliverables I have a function that determines whether a logged on user can access the administrative page or not. There are 2 users for this sample. The method created is SetPermissions with 2 parameters and if both are set to false; then will raise an error. When the method is called; then if a person has permissions; then all the content on the third placeholder will show up and not the first 2. If a person does not have permission but they are authenticated; then the 2nd one will show up (anything that is placed under that one). Finally; if they are not even logged on and its required; then will show the first content place holder. When using the control; the content will be as follows below the tags for the control; I will type in <VisitorHolder> </VisitorHolder> anything in between is the text for a visitor Same thing for the other 2 (WrongUserHolder and WelcomeHolder) Need the full source code working. Must work on buyers environment. The [login to view URL] already uses forms authentication. Must work without requiring anything else to the [login to view URL] file or even requiring a database. This was built in visual studio 2008 using visual basic and must remain there using the .net framework 3.5. ## Platform Windows XP, Windows Vista.
