Hello, we have a project that involves an ASP form that is submitted via the web and sends the results in a PDF file by email. WE had a private coder but he's on vacation and we need this done before he is back.
Situation: A user fills out a Performance Appraisal/Reference check on a website (disclosed via PM only) and then submit the form. What we need is that when the web form is submitted it fills out a form and sends the results by email in a PDF attachment.
Attached is the word document that the PDF file needs to look like. Both forms use this word document. The only thing different is for the Appraisal's there is no recommendation section at the bottom and for the reference there is no Position Applied for at the top. The forms are in ASP. The last project we did we used ASP.NET. What we're thinking of doing is:
1) User fills out form in ASP.
2) If form is duly filled out and complete, I could forward to an ASP.NET script with the answers in the URL.
3) The ASP.NET scripts grabs the answers, creates the PDF and sends out the email.
4) The ASP.NET script then redirects to an ASP thank you page.
What do you think? Let me know if you have any questions. Please don't post some long resumes and or 50 different website accomplishments because your bids will be ignored. Simply state if you have any questions or submit a bid.
