C# ASP.NET MVC Email-Like Messaging Feature (Task 2)

(Eventually, this project will have many of the bells and whistles of a full-fledged email client. So there will be more work for this project if we are a good fit for each other. But for this post, I am asking only for this user story to be completed.) We are adding "email-like" messaging to our C# ASP.NET MVC app. We're calling this "internal messaging". I have created a stripped down version of our app and database that has the beginnings of "internal messaging". Right now, it just shows a list of the messages in the user's inbox, and pops up a window to create a new message. And allows sending a message to ONE other user. This task is to send messages to multiple other users. For this task, I want the following user story to work: - testuser1 logs in with "testuser1" login name. - testuser1 clicks the "Inbox" link on the left-hand side. - testuser1 clicks the "New Message" button. - testuser1 types "test" in the "To:" box and selects "testuser2" - testuser1 types "test" in the "To:" box and selects "testuser3" - testuser1 types a message and clicks "Send" - testuser1 logs out by clicking the "Sign Out" link on the left-hand side. - testuser2 logs in with "testuser2" login name. - testuser2 clicks the "Inbox" link on the left-hand side. - testuser2 sees the message from "testuser1". - testuser2 clicks the message from "testuser1" to display it. - testuser2 logs out by clicking the "Sign Out" link on the left-hand side. - testuser3 logs in with "testuser2" login name. - testuser3 clicks the "Inbox" link on the left-hand side. - testuser3 sees the message from "testuser1". - testuser3 clicks the message from "testuser1" to display it. The only parts you need to develop for this project are: - Create the "testuser3" record in the database. It will be an exact copy of testuser1 or testuser2...except with the name "testuser3". - Create the "testuser3" "Inbox" record in the UserMessageFolder table in the database. Again, just copying the record from testuser2, and updating the id. - Create the "To:" field. This is the meat of this task. This "To:" field should work like the "Enter some skills that relate to the project" field on this page: https://www.freelancer.com/post-project It should allow the user to start typing a username and have a list of user names that begin with that to popup and be selectable. - Clicking "Send" should create 2 basically identical message records...one for testuser2 and one for testuser3, and place them in their inboxes. Those are the only tasks for the current project. The deliverable should be a working version of the code, zipped up. And a database backup, if changes to the database tables were needed.
