Hello there, From your description, I think it's good idea to go with PowerShell as it provides `PSCredential` object as well as `ValidateCredentials` to validate that credential agains current PC or event `Active Directory. I think i got the experience to complete this task right on time. I've done a couple of .bat for some repeating task i had to do in the past so I understand your requirement.

I can do this in two ways: 1). Writing a batch script which takes the input(User name & password ) and when executing button it executes the .bat script and saves the result to a file. 2).Create a small web page(ASP.Net) which takes the input(User name & password ) and when clicking submit button it executes the .bat script and it saves the result to a file.(It Requires IIS tool to run the webpage)
