Purpose:
Automatically mixing ('bouncing') 1 music wave file to a number of other wave files (with voice). I do not want them appended, but definitely mixed so you hear them both at the same time. This comes to putting 'background music' to voice files.
Final working scenario:
1) User selects 1 music wave file.
2) User selects a number of wave files with voice.
3) Program automatically mixes the music wave file to each of the wave files with voice separately, preserving in the processed files the length of each wave file with voice. So the final length of each mixed file is the same as the length of the chosen voice file. The resulting files are saved in the same format as the files to start with, overwriting these previous files.
No other processing needs to be done.
All files are 16 bit, 44 KHz, mono, uncompressed Microsoft Wave format.
Note: The music wave file is always longer than the voice wave files. This does not have to be checked.
Question: we have Sound Forge which does mixing, but not automatically. Maybe it can be used as mixer by the written program?
