I am trying to build a simple iPhone application that shows images (three per row on all devices) using UICollectionView (not controller) by using image links from JSON. Building platform is Xcode 8 SWIFT 3. I tried to do this myself but i am stuck . This is what i have so far ... - actors class. - a function that calls JSON and extract url path for each actor image. - calling that JSON function from another class (main storyboard) and assign result to an array but the this array is always blank. I guess the problem has something to do with async call !! This is where i stopped because and i need that array to be populated with url paths in order to use them in UICollectionView Images. The project file attached. See if you could correct my mistake and complete the UICollectionView image population. It is essential that image population is done via JSON call. I would really appreciate it if you could comment every block of code you add/edit in order for me to understand its purpose

I am writing in response to the contract to be a Swift Developer to fix some issues with your app. I believe my specialized experience in iOS mobile app development qualifies me for the job. My experience in building the social-media application SocialUs and other small freelancing applications has given me a strong background in Swift. Will you please consider me to be a Swift Developer to fix your app? While working with as lead iOS developer for SocialUs, I refined my knowledge of the language while expanding my knowledge on user interface design. I have expanded my knowledge in iOS UI design by using storyboards, as well as XIBs (NIBs). I have six years of iOS experience, and been specializing in Swift since its release in 2014. With my knowledge, my experience, and my flexible schedule, I believe I am an excellent candidate. Additional information about my experience is enclosed in my resumé. However, I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss, at your convenience, my application. If you would like additional information, please contact me. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Isaiah Labay
